ASK FOR ADVICE: BOOKS OR ARTICLES ON WORLD LITERATURE

ASK FOR ADVICE! THANK YOU!

I am a student who major in Comparative Literature and World Literature. Recently I am preparing a paper on World Literature. As I am a freshman in college, I am not familiar with this topic. So I come here and ask for advice.

If I want to know about different theories of World Literature or the development of this field, which books or articles should I read?

Thank you very much!

I think Prof. David Damrosch's What Is World Literature? (2003) is one perfect reference to conduct your research.

Thank you so much! I have already read that book before. I wonder are there any other materials that useful for me?

Again, thanks!
